JP Savaryn accepted into an advanced proteomics course at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories

JP Savaryn, a graduate student in the Terhune lab, has been accepted into an advanced proteomics course at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories (http://meetings.cshl.edu/courses/c-proteo09.shtml). In addition to his acceptance, JP has been awarded scholarship support from CSHL to attend.  The course is taught by numerous investigators from around the country including Andrew Link at Vanderbilt University, James Bruce at University of Washington, and Tracy Andacht at the CDC. The focus of the course is on cutting-edge proteomics approaches and technologies involving both lectures and laboratory work.  Specific emphasis is in the areas of differential and quantitative mass spectrometry, post-translational modifications and data analysis.
